 Every Brightside Immunizing Pharmacist will have taken and maintain CPR certification, including  an infant and children's CPR class .  CPR certification is renewed every two years.

We comply with the laws, regulation, and good practices of The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to be able to provide a safe environment for our staff and patients.  

Each of our pharmacist at Brightside has been trained and certified in adolescent and adult immunization.  We mandate a yearly refresher course to stay up to date and provide best practices.  

We fully train all of our staff to be Blood Borne Pathogen Certified.  For the safety of our staff and patients we are serious about reducing risks of blood borne pathogens by providing personal protective equipment and good hygiene practices.  

We provide our staff the right-to-know the hazards and identities of the hazardous chemicals people are exposed to in the workplace.  We protect our staff by training how to read and understand hazard labels and safety data sheets. 

At Brightside, we are CAIR compliant and report all immunizations to their database.  The California Immunization Registry (CAIR2) is a secure, confidential, statewide computerized immunization information system for California residents.  At a touch, your provider will be notified or your provider's offices can check instantly.
